All services are billed at $275 per hour. All costs are subject to change.

  • Video call to workshop study ideas - Minimum 1 hour

  • Quantitative study or research project design based on study concept or idea - Minimum 4 hours

    • Includes video call to discuss the concept in depth, identification of data sources, interim video calls to hone the plan, and a final presentation of the study design

    • I do not design clinical trials though I can help you draft a study protocol.

  • Statistical analysis plan or data creation plan - Minimum 8 hours

    • Includes video call to discuss in depth the needs of the project, review of any existing codebooks or data sets, interim video calls to hone the plan, and a final presentation of the statistical analysis or data creation plan

    • I am an expert at using the SAS, SPSS, and STATA programs for all aspects of statistical analysis and presentation including data cleaning. I can also provide expertise in the statistical analysis and presentation (excluding data cleaning) using R. We will provide steps to completing the proposed analysis using any of these software(s) as needed.

  • For study/research project design, data creation plans, and statistical analysis plans I also offer a 1-hour rough sketch service. This service is a collaborative session and excludes additional calls or a final presentation. Imagine the type of planning you could achieve with a colleague during a working lunch.

  • Methods and/or result section writing - Minimum 8 hours

    • Includes interim drafts and a final presentation of the sections

    • Writing can be for a grant/contract proposal, manuscript, presentation, abstract, etc. We do not write these sections for theses or dissertations but will provide substantive review and feedback.

  • Review of client written products (e.g. study design, methods section, statistical analysis plan) - Minimum 2 hours

    • Includes video call to understand the parameters, review of any documentation, and up to three written or drawn reviews with substantive feedback.

Notes:

  • All work is to be completed remotely. However, if any aspect of this work needs to be conducted in-person, the client is responsible for covering the travel, housing, and per diem expenses of the consultant. All travel time is considered billable.

  • Depending on the services billed, clients may be required to add the consultant as a contributing author in communications such as a scientific presentation, pre-print, or peer-reviewed manuscript granted other aspects of the ICJME criteria are met. This will be written into any contract and agreed upon before the commencement of work. Disclosure information is available upon request.
