Meet Me!
Doctoral level epidemiologist with a variety of expertise including sports injury, chronic disease, data linkage, anthropometry, and social determinants of health. I’m a Jill of all trades and love learning new information and skills whether or not they are “work” related - you should learn something new every day! I believe everyone should be in the position to live well. Good data is the key to knowing how we make this happen and how to continuously strategize and evaluate what work comes next. We are the stewards of the future!
Currently Chief Data Nerd and Lead Consultant for Charlotte Baker Data Consulting, LLC. Formerly an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at Virginia Tech in the Department of Population Health Sciences; Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Florida A&M University in the Institute of Public Health; and Director of Epidemiology for Truveta Inc. Founder and PI of the Injury in Sport and Physical Activity Data Analysis and Training Advances Laboratory (I-SPY DATA).
When I’m not thinking out some wicked problem, I’m most likely reading, gaming (video, board, and card), or putting together LEGO.
