I'm passionate about turning your research dreams into reality—from that first spark of an idea to the moment you share your breakthrough with the world. I especially love working with underrepresented and minoritized faculty and public health organizations serving those in need. This includes but is not limited to persons of color, queer or questioning, disabled, neurodivergent, first-generation, indigenous, and/or those with limited spoons (see: spoon theory). I know the unique challenges you face go far beyond the technical ones.
Here's the thing: I've been exactly where you are. Staring at code that should work but doesn't. Wrestling with data that seems determined to fail you. Facing study questions that feel impossible to answer. Racing against the clock to redo an analysis that has to be perfect. And if you're from an underrepresented background, you might also be doing all this while being systematically underfunded, excluded from key decisions, or having to prove your expertise in ways others never have to. I know the frustration, the systemic barriers, the late nights, and yes—I also know that incredible rush when everything finally clicks, when the answers emerge, and when you get to tell a story that matters.
With two decades as a public health practitioner, epidemiologist, biostatistician, community-based participatory researcher, academic, methodologist, strategist, and leader, I've collected every hard-won lesson and bring them all to our work together. I live for the "Why?" questions and thrive on untangling statistical puzzles, explaining complex methods, and helping you dig out of even the messiest data situations.
Whether you're stuck in a programming loop from hell, need help crafting that conference presentation, putting together a compelling article to submit for publication, or are trying to figure out how to explain complex methods to students, I get it—because I've been there.
