Let’s work together.
What runs the world?? Data!
Who can help you with that?? ME!
I’m passionate about helping researchers and communities bring their dreams to life, from idea inception to project completion.
I have nearly 20 years of experience as a public health practitioner, epidemiologist, biostatistician, community based participatory researcher, academic, methodologist, strategist, collaborator, writer, and leader. I’ve learned from every experience and bring those lessons to our work together. I’ve always loved the question “Why?” and found myself frequently fielding questions about particular statistics, how to explain methods, putting together data, or how to dig out of a mess of data. In a frustrating cycle with statistical programming? Been there. I also love teaching through conference presentations, workshops, and (of course) through hands on experiences with students. Everyone needs something a little different. Instead of waiting until your question or data is perfect, how about booking me for a free 30-minute consultation about what you are or want to work on? More about me.
Who do I serve?
I specialize in helping underrepresented and minoritized faculty across academic areas and public health organizations serving those in need. This includes but is not limited to persons of color, queer or questioning, disabled, first-generation, indigenous, and those with limited spoons (see: spoon theory). It can be daunting and exhausting to get a data driven project off the ground or out the door even if you’re well experienced. If you have limited experience or limited funds it may seem impossible. Other times, time and resources demand the delegation of these tasks to others at the beginning of the project or at some later point when things have gone awry. Let’s combine my expertise in methods and data with your subject matter expertise to make your work shine!
